FORE THE CURE
ABOUT THE CAUSE

CureDuchenne is a national nonprofit raising awareness and funds to cure Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Paul and Debra Miller founded the organization in 2003 after their son, Hawken, was diagnosed with Duchenne. Since then, the organization has funded numerous scientific projects to fast-track research and new treatments for Duchenne, while advocating for the community with education and support programs.
Troy and Dani Terry
Anaheim Ducks right wing Troy Terry is a two-time NHL All-Star (2022 and 2023), 2018 Olympian and World Junior Champion for Team USA, and NCAA champion at the University of Denver. Selected by Anaheim in the fifth round (148th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft, Terry leads the Ducks in points since making his NHL debut in 2018. Terry now ranks in the top 10 in all-time points and goals in Anaheim Ducks history.
Since joining the Anaheim Ducks, Troy and his wife Dani have been incredibly generous in their support of the Southern California community. Troy and Dani are passionate advocates and supporters of CureDuchenne, driven by their personal journey as parents of two young boys.
“Ryan has hit numerous accomplishments on the ice. But none are as important to me as working to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.”
— HAWKEN MILLER
